Challenge Tips

 This is a collection of tips I'm figuring out as I go.

  1. Don't pick something that "hurts" to appreciate. It makes appreciation somewhat less-than-genuine.
  2. Spending some concentrated time "forcing" yourself to appreciate - outloud - whatever you're working on for that day - definitely helps.
  3. Labels stick, choose carefully for yourself and your loved ones, especially your kids. 
  4. Don't be surprised when the universe yanks your chain.
  5. Let guilt go...it's a waste of energy.
  6. Expect to re-evaluate along the way and don't be afraid to make changes. 
  7. Courage is not for wimps. I'm not a wimp. 
  8. Sharing this journey makes me feel naked - not a pretty sight.
